- GSA forms an alliance with a U.S. nursing school and a university-affiliated hospital.
- GSA researches its extensive database of scholar candidates to identify those that meet university admission requirements as well as hospital standards.
- GSA manages the NCLEX review, testing, licensing, immigration, university admission, relocation and resettlement processes.
- GSA, the university, and the hospital work together to assist the nurse scholar in their transition to living, working, and attending school in the US.
- GSA scholars attend school and gain practical experience by working at a university -affiliated healthcare institution in accordance with visa regulations.
- GSA funds and administers the academic scholarship and ensures that the scholars maintain GSA program and visa compliance.
- GSA provides participants with assistance in the identification of post program career opportunities in their home countries where they share what they have learned, and help lead and educate the next generation of aspiring nurses.
