WHY DO NURSING SCHOOLS PARTICIPATE?

U.S. universities spend millions of dollars each year recruiting qualified nurses into their Masters of Science in Nursing and BSN completion programs. A serious challenge to that effort is the fact that each year, more and more nurses leave the profession.

GSA's University Alliance Partners benefit from the GSA program in a number of ways. Perhaps the most significant benefit is access to a source of pre-screened, qualified, fully-funded BSN completion and MSN students. Additional reasons why nursing schools across the U.S. are attracted to our programs include:

  • Provides stable funding source for advanced education programs

  • Strengthens relationship with area hospitals

  • Uses existing educational capacity

  • Increases student and classroom diversity

  • Increases school's and faculty's international presence

  • Serves institution's global educational mission

  • Provides a competitive advantage to nursing program

"Many Americans are unaware that the nursing shortage is actually a global crisis. The current method of one-way recruiting from foreign countries to the United States and other developed countries is not sustainable and is harmful to home country healthcare systems."

Todd Bol, Founder of GSA
